Baby Dedication Sunday

Baby dedication is NOT infant baptism. The Bible teaches us to be born again but this requires a decision making capacity. The concept of infant baptism(for salvation) is a fallacy since infants do not have the mental or cognitive capacity to make such a decision.

Baby dedication is a public proclamation between parents and the Church Body that the children are going to be raised in a godly home and the Church is coming along side of families in that process for support, help, encouragement and opportunities for growth. This short ceremony will take place in the beginning of the Worship hour, so that parents are able to take their children to the nursery for the remaining portion of Worship.
