2027 K5 – 5th Grade Coed Basketball & Girl’s Cheer Season

Important Dates

1. August 20th: Early Registration Begins – $75 for first child, second child gets $5 discount & third child gets $8 discount

2. September 19th: Early Registration Ends, price increases to $80 for first child, second child gets $5 discount & third child gets $8 discount

3. November 14th: Evaluations @ HBCC – A short skills evaluation is required for each registered child to ensure teams are equally proportioned according to child size and skill level.

4. Week of December 7th: First Practices (Monday Nights: K-2nd Basketball) (Wednesday Nights: 3rd-5th Basketball & K-5th Cheer)

5. January 2nd: First Games

• One hour practices will be weekly starting the week of December 7th.
• This year, there will be 2 practice nights:
  • Mondays K-2nd Basketball Practice
  • Wednesdays 3rd-5th Basketball Practice AND K-5th Cheer
  • Practices include a short devotion
• Games begin Saturday, January 2nd from 8am-Noon (4 games) and will be each Saturday morning during the months of January & February!
• Halftime will include a short public devotion by members of the HBCC leadership team.
• Cheer Team will cheer for 1 game per Saturday. Cheer Team will rotate games so that each Basketball team gets cheered for one time.
